Collaboration with designer Sebastian Holmbäck on his design for Holmegaard during my employment at Rosendahl Design Group. Arc is a series of mouth-blown vases and flowerpot launched in 2022, and lanterns launched in 2023.

Arc is the perfect example of how to update a classic object like the vase. Through this task Sebastian Holmbäck demonstrates how using a contrasting look can create an innovative design that reflects the essence of Holmegaard’s classic design history. The muted dark green and navy colours bring a touch of nature inside. A touch that is enhanced by the mouth-blown, transparent glass almost prolonging the visual aesthetic with fresh flowers in the vase or a green plant in the flowerpot – and thus capturing the beauty of nature above and through the glass.
