Lily
Glassware and tableware series for Holmegaard, hand-pressed glass with a flower pattern. The Lily series features a tumbler, a small bowl, a dessert plate and a large serving bowl. Designed during my employment at Rosendahl Design Group, launched in 2023.

Product development towards hand-made production
When a flower begins to blossom, each new stage contains its own beauty – from the delicate buds to the flower in full bloom. The inspiration for Lily comes from these different stages of the flowering water lily, as each of the series' products reflects.
The Lily series comes in the colours Blue Iris, Toffee Rose, Cherry Blossom and Clear. These four colours – all with strong name references to nature – bring the beautiful floral pattern in the glass to life and let the tactile pattern play the leading role.
Lily’s design refers to historical patterns from Holmegaard’s long tradition of pressed glass featuring reliefs and facets - among others the Nanna series released from 1930s to 1950s.
